Who's behind the slash
Superhero fan at the core. Film-review brain on top. Fandom pulse throughout.
Bats Reacts is one creator watching everything so the takes come from the actual movies — not the discourse. Comics-to-screen is home turf, but nothing pop culture is off the table: horror, blockbusters, prestige TV, the stuff nobody else will defend.
What makes it different? A take you can push back on. No fence-sitting, no rage-bait — controversy that starts a conversation, not a pile-on.

Made something? Send it.
Indie filmmakers send me their films. I won't promise coverage and I won't promise a rave — but if it's good, it goes on the site and I tell people about it.
