Review policy

Reviews are first-person and score out of 10. A score of 5.5 or higher is a recommendation — the equivalent of Fresh; anything below it is not. The full scale is published on the ratings page.

• 7+ Worth It
• 5.5+ Mid
• 4+ Rough
• 0–3.9 Dumpster Fire

Screeners & access

Screeners, press access and review copies are accepted and are always disclosed on the piece itself, naming who supplied it. Access never buys a score, and no coverage is guaranteed in exchange for it. Payment for a review is never accepted under any circumstances. The full policy is on editorial standards.
